I am reluctantly rehoming my puppy for the safety of our disabled senior. His medical condition has become concerningly worse. My puppy is young and full of energy so not a good combination, now I must say goodbye to him :( So please be kind this is hard enough already. Ben is a 4 month old Standard Poodle Puppy. He is full poodle not a mix but I do not have "purebred" papers as he was meant as a pet not as a show dog or breeding. Ben is allergy friendly hypoallergenic. He has a super soft curly non shedding coat. I love to cuddle up with him :) and he loves to sleep with us. Currently Ben is 26lbs but will grow to about 70lbs full size so please be aware of this before expressing interest. He should go to a home with either a large yard to run in or at the very least a family to take him on a long walk every day to get his energy out. Ben has the natural poodle tail it is not docked. Its so cute I call it his flag. Ben is excellent with our two young children ages 1 and 3, in fact he is super patient with our 3 yr old whom is autistic. It amazes me such a young dog could express such patience with a screaming running throwing child honestly. I have already leash broken Ben and even taught him on a harness so you can walk him on collar or with harness. Ben is also about 80% housebroken. He holds it throughout the day no issue with potty breaks in between, and can hold it overnight no issue. I say 80% because since his muscles to hold it are still developing, if you do not take him out id say about 15 minutes after you wake up, he gets so excited that he cannot hold it anymore. With that said however, we were gone for 8 hrs two days ago when back to back drs apts ran a bit late and I expected to come home to a mess but was pleasently surprised to find nothing :) So I do feel in a monthor less he will be 100% :) Ben has been trained to sleep in his crate or on our bed so that would be your choice as well. He does not cry in it at night and views it as his home now :) He likes to actually eat his meals in there as well.
Ben has had both his 1st and 2nd shots including rabies and lyme. The vaccines were adminstered by a liscened vet not home given and I will include all his paperwork for them. I have had him microchipped, hes been dewormed, and Ive had flea and tick preventative since day 1 on him. He is very healthy :) Bens fee is $600 firm and the following items will go with him (yes the supplies go with him, they are his, im not sending him along without them sorry).. 42 inch triple door collapsible metal dog crate that is like new, Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy Dry Food, brand new kong padded adjustable collar that should last him the rest of his growth :) as I got the biggest size i could and adjusted it all the way down, kong double loop traffic leash, martingale adjustable training collar, 2 additional months supply of flea and tick preventative similar to frontline (no cheap dollar store stuff), food bowl, rawhides, toys, treats, shampoo, one doggie t shirt, and male wrap to help with preventing potty accidents.
If interested please email me with a bit about your family and a number I can contact you at to discuss him further. Please do not respond if you live in a tiny apartment. Its not that I am judging anyones lives its just that hes a big dog who needs room. A tiny apartment would not be fair to him. Thank you
